1. Why does she think that Huck should maintain the attitude of a reconstructing southerner?
2. Does Jim rarely speak out to people?
3. why did Jim stay with Huck when in reality he could have escaped multiple times?
4. How is Tom representing society in the Friendship between Huck and Jim?
5. How does Twain portray Tom at the beginning of the story? Does that change?

- Was Twain protecting Jim (by means self-preservation) throughout the entire story?
- Why does it seem Twain is always placing Jim in danger, whether serious or mild?
- Were Jim's actions appropriate for his status as a husband, father, and friend?
- Is Jim considered a hero for what he did regarding helping the doctor with Tom's leg?
- Why does it seem that Jim is always so loyal to Huck? His loyalty always seems to be steadfast. He never second guesses Huck but does seem to second guess Tom.

The End
This has been a very exciting ending, personally I enjoyed it. I do believe that Jim did take on a "Tom" stereotype, for he was always doing whatever Tom told him to do. Also Huck did seem to be reverting back to his old self. Personal I think that is the way it should be; his friendship with Tom is strong and they are acting as they should for their age. As Uncle Silas said, "[B]oys will be boys" (250).

Jim's gone!!
How could the King just go off and sell Jim! After all the 4 of them have been through, I know I wouldn't be able to sell him. The King didn't even own Jim, and the Duke, just standing by watching it all, he didn't even object to it. Personal I hope Jim is to come back into the story.

Why?
Why does Huck let the "king" and "duke" stay with himself and Jim if he knew that they were frauds... that does not make any sense..

French talk...
Going back to the conversation about how the French speak different but they are still human; this made me realize something quiet general but many times over looked. If a white man is a human and a black man is human why enslave them? As the French speak different the blacks look different but we are all human in nature, we are all of the same dignity.

Who does Huck Live with?
I agree with Anthony but Jim always trusted Huck, because he saw Jim on Jackson's Island but Huck gave Jim his word that he won't go and tell where he is. I'm still confused why Huck pulled those pranks on Jim? This is Sarah by the way...its not working on my account.
